BECOMING A CUSTOMER
There are three different options for becoming a Comfurt gas customer depending on the type of equipment currently at your property.
If there is a Comfurt gas leased tank at the location:
-
Contact Comfurt gas and inform us what day you take over the property
-
Comfurt gas will read the tank on the day you take over, and you will be billed for the propane that is in the tank and for the annual tank rent. We will send you an invoice and new customer information packet. You are required to return the New Customer Information form to our office before we open your account.
If the tank is owned by the consumer:
-
Comfurt does not read the tank and charge for the gas or the tank rent.
-
We will send you a New Customer Information packet. You are required to return the New Customer Information form to our office before we open your account.
If there is no tank at the location:
-
Contact Comfurt Gas to request a site visit to the location. We will conduct a safety inspection and leak check of the gas system at no charge to you, and start the process of installing a propane tank.
